VICRYL RAPIDE (polyglactin 910) Suture
Coated VICRYL RAPIDE Suture is a synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. VICRYL RAPIDE is intended for use in soft tissue approximation where only short-term wound support is required and where the rapid absorption of the suture would be beneficial.

Typical Use:
Indicated for:
- Soft tissue approximation where rapid absorption may be beneficial
- Skin closure, particularly in paediatric surgery
- Skin repairs where rapid absorption may be beneficial
- Episiotomy repair and mucosa in oral cavity
- Ophthalmic surgery for conjunctival sutures
- Lacerations under casts
Contraindicated for:
- Wound support/ligation >7 days
- High-stress skin areas and over joints
- Use in cardiovascular and neurological tissues
